TM1PRIMARYDATASOURCE returns the workbook's last-saved primary data source name.

TM1PRIMARYDATASOURCE is a native TM1 / Planning Analytics function.

TM1PRIMARYDATASOURCE takes no arguments; any argument is a hard error.

Notes and limits#

• It echoes the cell's last-saved value. Planning Analytics does not persist a last-used server or endpoint in the workbook, so Reportworq returns whatever value the cell held when the workbook was last saved. If the value cannot be read, the function returns blank. Do not rely on it to discover a live connection at run time.
